Curved topped headstone which has been removed from its original position in the past, and reinstated against the north wall. Winged cherub head at top, in the centre, surrounded by a vine-like border motif. Very eroded:

[___]
Daughter of Joseph
[&] Catherine
HOLLOWAY
Who died [___]

[BR: The most likely candidate would be Elizabeth HOLLOWAY buried 16 Feb 1784, but there is also an earlier Elizabeth buried 1740. (These are the only female HOLLOWAY burials in the burial register.) A Joseph HOLLOWAY married a Catherine PAINTIN at Stonesfield in 1770. (This is the only combination of these two forenames in the Oxfordshire Marriage Index.) Their first child, Elizabeth was baptised in 1771. On 10th October 1784 they baptised a further Elizabeth. This is normally a strong indicator that the first bearer of the name has died, but there is no burial for her at Stonesfield. It seems likely that the Elizabeth baptised in 1771 is the person commemorated here.]
